Hello, and welcome to my fic journal! While some of the stories here center on the Ninth and/or Tenth Doctors from Doctor Who, the vast majority of what you’ll find is from something called the “Things-verse”—the stories about Rose Tyler remaining in Pete’s World after the events of “Doomsday” and eventually running across DI Peter Carlisle from “Blackpool”. The tale started as a lark, and morphed into something I never could have imagined.

If you’ve come here off a recommendation, first of all--thank you very, very much for giving the story a shot. Second, and perhaps of more immediate importance to you, is where to begin. For that, I recommend starting where I did when I finally decided to start writing—with “The Way of Things”. For what to read after that, the order of the ensuing stories can be found on the left side of the page, under “The Order of Things”, Parts One and Two. (I recommend leaving the first story on the list, “How Things Began”, for last. Or last-ish. It centers exclusively on two Original Characters who don’t appear for a while in Peter and Rose’s lives.)

PS--as some of my lovely readers have noted below, it's worthwhile to read the comments section, too - especially for "The Way of Things". I was new to writing, and I had great readers, and many of my ideas for various fics and plot developments came about as a direct result of conversations held in those comments sections.
